Estimates and prices

Keraijen advises that estimates and prices are good for 60 days from the time of order placement.
Payment is required in advanced before any work will commence and is subsequently non-refundable. If a client decides to discontinue use of the products and/or service they have appointed Keraijen to develop, the client will be billed for the amount of time spent on their order prior and up to the time of cancellation.

This includes any services utilised to such time, including (though not limited to) collating information, emails, faxes, phone calls etc. It is the client’s responsibility to notify Keraijen immediately of cancellation. Failure by the client to notify Keraijen of the cancellation will not entitle the client to a reimbursement of the fee.

Keraijen’s current rate for the development of web portfolio is $130.00 per hour pro-rata. Once a web portfolio has been developed and/or is hosted on our site, monies are non-refundable, as hosting fees are included in the initial cost, on either a 3, 6 or 9 month basis from time of order placement, depending on the package being purchased. Hosting fees after this time will be charged at $5 per month.

Review and revisions

Design costs of websites and PDF colour résumés include 3 design reviews. Changes following initial review/revision will be charged at our hourly pro rata fee in a minimum of 15-minute increments. Should an error be discovered following initial client review/proofreading/approval, Keraijen will correct and replace at no charge.

For graphic customisations, client agrees to provide their own images or photos. If they would like Keraijen to provide these, then an additional fee of $60 will be charged to search for suitable images. Any images provided by the client cannot be taken illegally from any other website or photo gallery and must comply with copyright laws.

Client understands and agrees that Keraijen will not confirm or attempt to verify information provided by Client, and Keraijen will not be responsible for accuracy or truthfulness of information provided by Client. Client will hold Keraijen harmless from claims by third parties based on any inaccuracy of information in the web portfolio created by Keraijen.

Client also understands that once the initial web portfolio has been completed and uploaded onto the web, Keraijen will email the URL to the client for review, comment and editing. Final proofreading is the responsibility of the client. Any changes must be advised within seven (7) days. Failure of the client not responding within seven (7) days of the receipt of the web portfolio’s URL will be deemed as a completed project, with no necessary adjustments/alterations required. After this time, further consultation or revisions will be subject to fees, charged at the above per hour pro rata fee.

Intellectual property rights

The client acknowledges that Keraijen retains intellectual property ownership of all work produced and is bound by copyright law, which prevents the client from allowing a third-party to utilise any of the material or final product developed by Keraijen, or for the web portfolio to be updated by anyone other than Keraijen.

Warranties and liabilities

Keraijen does not guarantee job placement, or employment success. Keraijen’s goal is to provide the best possible résumé package for each of our clients. It is the responsibility of the client, and indeed in the client's best interests, to supply us with all requested information and to work collaboratively with us to complete a customised package that reflects their individuality and highlights their career assets. Keraijen strongly encourages active client participation in this process to achieve the best outcome possible for all concerned.

The client understands that if there is a preference on the client's part to use their work email or employer's computer for career communications with Keraijen they (the client) will be solely responsible for any possible repercussions from such action, including dismissal by their employer, as is the case with privacy issues pertaining to the publishing of the client's web portfolio on the internet. Keraijen holds no responsibility for any possible repercussions from such action, including dismissal by their employer surrounding the possibility of their web portfolio being discovered by parties, other than the intended recruiters and/or potential employers.

Confidentiality

Keraijen respects your privacy. Any and all information collected at this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed. Keraijen will not at any time, either directly or indirectly, use for its personal benefit or disclose, or communicate in any manner any information that is pertaining to its clients. All your information will be kept strictly confidential. This provision shall remain effective even after the termination of all agreements and projects.

Your contact details

Any information you give to Keraijen will be held with the utmost care, and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to. Keraijen will ask you when she needs information that personally identifies you or allows her to contact you. Generally, this information is requested when you are requesting information or hiring Keraijen services. Personal information collected by Keraijen often is limited to email address, country or location, but may include other information when needed to provide a service you requested. For example, if you choose a service or transaction that requires payment, such as making a purchase enquiry, Keraijen will request personal information necessary for billing and/or shipping, such as: name, address, telephone number, and credit card number.

Secure online transactions

When you pay for services or products online, your purchases are secure by ordering through the PayPal server. We accept VISA and MasterCard credit cards. For more information on PayPal's security encryption for security card transactions, please visit the PayPal website.

Changes in privacy statement
